The journey of many multicultural souls starts with their families relocating to new cities for better job opportunities. Repeated relocation was a common outcome of transfers and postings in those days, leading to people picking up small cultural habits from wherever they were posted and thus creating their own eclectic, unique cultural values. The waistcoat is inspired by the stern, mundane nature of work at old government offices. It’s a reflection of the spirit of people who choose to get into this field of work to provide a better future to their family and the country.
