Did you know that ‘BRAT’ has a completely different meaning in the army lingo? It stands for Born, Raised And Transferred. Families/ kids of army personnels get posted to a new state every couple of years. One can certainly imagine how that might affect their cultural identity.
But to make up for this ambiguity, the army offers a culture of its own- the one that gives army families immense amount of patriotism, strength and adaptability!
