About Harshita
GOOD MESS, two words that Harshita think describe her aptly!
As a child, Harshita was captivated by the glamour of Bollywood actresses, especially their red carpet appearances. She observed how outfits could transform a person’s presence, sparking her fascination with fashion’s power to shape identity and expression.
Her formal journey began at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bangalore, where she explored both the technical and creative aspects of garment design. Post-graduation, she honed her skills as a Designer and Product Developer at a buying house in NCR.
This experience balanced her artistic instincts with a pragmatic understanding of commercial viability and production. Surrounded by vibrant fabrics and dynamic prints during this stint, Harshita discovered the emotional resonance of color and its ability to influence mood and tell stories.
This insight became central to her design philosophy, inspiring her to use prints and colours to create clothing that is both expressive and impactful.
Inquisitive and reflective by nature, Harshita designs with the intention of creating meaningful connections—both with oneself and others. She believes that fashion, when practiced responsibly, has the power to evoke emotions—a core essence of human life—all while seamlessly incorporating trends to fit wardrobes that feel modern and versatile.
Her design process draws inspiration from the “messy” and imperfect facets of life that most people experience at some point. These moments, filled with complexity and growth, serve as a rich canvas for her creativity. Harshita’s multicultural upbringing further enhances her ability to blend eclectic visuals, juxtaposing diverse elements to create a “mess” that feels authentic and beautiful.
“Looking ahead, Harshita envisions her brand as a vibrant space where individuality meets sustainability with thoughtful creativity. She hopes her designs become beloved wardrobe staples that spark joy and tell unique stories. Forever curious, she embraces playful experiments and untold narratives, all while keeping her passion for fashion’s transformative magic alive.”
