Sometimes in our twenties, we feel ourselves slipping—not from people or places, but from ourselves. Slipping into overthinking, into numbness, into a quiet kind of darkness that’s hard to name. We show up, smile, go through the motions, but underneath it all, something feels heavy… distant… off. It doesn’t happen all at once. It’s slow. A missed call here, a dream shelved there, a version of us we don’t quite recognise anymore. And it’s scary, because we don’t always know how to pull ourselves back. But even in that darkness, there’s a spark. A voice that says: you’re not lost, you’re just in the middle. And somehow, little by little, we find our way back—through art, through people, through something soft and real that reminds us we’re still here.
