Growing up in our twenties feels less like a sudden switch and more like a slow, quiet gradient. It doesn’t happen overnight—it happens in shades. In tiny decisions, softened edges, deeper breaths. One day we’re reacting like we always have, and the next, we pause, reflect, respond differently. It’s in the way our priorities shift without us noticing, how we start setting boundaries, forgiving ourselves, letting go of things that used to feel essential. It’s subtle but powerful—like the fading of one color into another. Not a before-and-after, but a becoming. We don’t wake up one day feeling like adults. We just look back and realise: somehow, we’ve changed. And it’s kind of beautiful.
